Carver Richards came and spoke to our students at Rock Ridge High School. It was a special presentation, as Rock Ridge is his alma mater. Carver graduated from Eveleth High School and Rock Ridge is the new high school that consolidates the former Eveleth High School, Gilbert High School and Virginia High School.
Carver’s speech was spot on! His passion for his story comes flying out during his presentation. GRIT is something that is needed to be taught nowadays and Carver’s story exemplifies GRIT. His story is thoughtful and inspiring. The students were engaged and impressed with Carver’s message.
